Originally released in 1991, this has held up well for a game almost as old as me and is brilliant fun to play on the SNES Classic. It’s about 20 hours long (the console's Suspend Points system is excellent) and has all the favourites like the hookshot & boomerang, heart pieces & boss fights. Controls are great, although switching items through menus can be a bit fiddly. It’s well laid out & has fast travel (if you can work out how to unlock it). I think my only criticism is common to games of that era; some puzzles / hidden items are so obscure that there’s no way to know about them without looking them up, and some puzzles deliberately designed to make you fail the first time you try them.
