It took me 5 years and three attempts, but I finally managed to summon the will to finish this. The X-COM style combat is very good (although the hit rate is ridiculous - most shots in the game miss). It's a very slow start, but I really enjoyed the story in the second half. The world in general feels empty and lifeless - I think it's mostly the sound design and movement mechanics. RPG is extremely limited - none of your choices matter in any way, and skill checks in conversations are far and few between. Came across a few bugs and some weird design decisions, but on the whole I enjoyed it.
