I'm a little biased against this as I bought it based on it's reputation of being groundbreaking without realising how old it was. It doesn't hold up well 14 years later in terms of gameplay, story, controls or graphics. I can understand why it was good at the time though; the Colossi are varied and impressive. It's cool to be able to climb up them, it's just that that's literally it - the game is a big open field with bosses scattered across it and nothing else. The game consists of riding from one to the next dispatching them all to fulfil a deal with the devil to resurrect your girlfriend. Probably give it a miss unless it really looks appealing to you.
