PowerWash Simulator
This does exactly what it says on the tin. Want a game where you can chill out to the cathartic white noise and systematic cleaning of power washing? You've come to the right place. Like many others I laughed at this and rolled by eyes when I first saw it come out, but there's definitely space in my life for this. End of a long day of work, stick a film on, clean a children's play area. The controls are great, there's a whole bunch of equipment upgrades and LOADS of things to clean. Really well made game.
Pros
- Great controls. Just as I was starting to worry about RSI I realised you could enable a setting to make it spray without you holding down the key. There's also a toggle to detach the washer from the first person camera so you don't get dizzy waving your washer around
- Way more content than I expected. I finished the campaign in about 40 hours, and there are two more special free DLC campaigns after that
- There's a button to highlight all dirt, so you can find the last little bits
- Rotate vertical or horizontal spray mode
- Indicator for how clean something is
- Different nozzle widths for high power concentrated or or low power wide area
- When you get to 99%, it shows you exactly which objects you're still missing
- When you finish a map, it shows you a sped up little replay
- There's a campaign mode where you earn money to upgrade your washers
- Co-op. Not sure I see the point of that though

Cons
- Although it's addictive, the gameplay loop is extremely simple and there isn't even really any background music. It really needs to be playing with Netflix or a podcast or something on the side
- It's basically impossible to find the screen where you can change your washer appearance. I had to ask on Reddit, and then ask for clarification when I still couldn't find it.
