I was kind of drawn in by the art style in the screenshots, but somehow it manages to look worse in the actual game. It's basically just another JRPG with EXP, items, isometric turn based movement and lots of customisable hirelings. So many it seems, that you have a small army and they all require grinding to level. The whole game feels a bit rough around the edges. Assets are blurry on a large screen and the control system is bad on both keyboard and controller. The game is isometric and doesn't support using the directional stick, you need to use the D-pad. So that's up down left right.... on a diagonal grid. Combat is simplistic, and the story is same old same old.
