This seems to be the most well reviewed game of the series, but I honestly didn't enjoy this one as much as Fallout 3. I think that was mostly the setting though rather than anything gameplay related. It's the same engine and same mechanics, but just felt a bit less epic. That being said, it's still a definite must-play and worth every minute of your time. Exploring Fallout games and getting completely absorbed in the world and the lore is always such a highlight. I love looking through old computer logs and the heavy focus on story. Gameplay is always similar, and some people love/hate the VATS system, but it does make it stand out from other games.
