A Civilization clone, but prettier and in a fantasy setting. Adds a few new things like being able to cast spells, otherwise the same mechanics such as production, research etc. THe biggest stand-out thing from this franchise is the combat. Instead of fighting on the overworld, you go into a battle area and it turns into an XCOM-like turn-based battle using the units in your army, which really adds something to the game.
