I've tried to like this a few times but I always end up rage quitting. It's ok to have difficult gameplay, but when the problem is that you don't know whether something is a powerup or an enemy, that's just bad game design. The levels are the same every time - to avoid some things you simply have to know that they're coming. This doesn't reward skill, just knowing the level inside out.
